The A7 from Edinburgh to Carlisle passes directly through Selkirk. Once in Selkirk, take the A708 out of the town centre. Follow the road down a slight hill. The B7009 to Ettrickbridge and Aikwood Tower are signposted left. Keep on the B7009 for about four miles and Aikwood is on your left after the Oakwood Farm cottages. Once you’ve turned off the main road, take the left fork (right goes to Oakwood Farm) and you’ll reach the entrance.
